Please join us for Bastrop County Historical Society's Fall Quarterly Meeting and hear Rebekah Dobrasko, a historic preservation specialist with TxDOT, talk about the Rosenwald Schools, over 5000 segregated schools that built in the late 19th and early 20th century. These schools represented a better educational opportunity for African Americans in the South. Street parking is available on Main and Spring Streets and behind Calvary Episcopal Church.
