BISD Back to School Bash & Stuff the Bus

Join us as we kick off the 2015-2016 school year!

Bastrop ISD's annual Back to School Bash and Stuff the Bus distribution are just around the corner. Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 22. The event will take place at the Bastrop ISD Memorial Stadium (755 Hwy. 21, Cedar Creek) with the Stuff the Bus distribution beginning at 8 AM followed by the Back to School Bash from 8:30-10:30 AM.

Thanks to generous community partners and fundraisers at local businesses, Stuff the Bus will provide 1,400 backpacks with school supplies for students in Pre-K through 8th grade on a first come, first serve basis. Students must be present to receive a backpack with school supplies. 

For the Back to School Bash, all games, activities and food will be available free of charge for all attendees. Vendors will include businesses, nonprofit groups, BISD campuses, governmental agencies and local organizations. The Children's Health Express will also be there providing immunizations on site. Be one of the first 1,000 people through the gate and receive a free Bash t-shirt!
