DECEMBER 16TH, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market
MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND SHOP AT THE MARKET!
The Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market is hosting a special Christmas Shopping Event. We will have several ARTISANS for this one-day shopping event, including:
• Designs by Jacquie Gallagher whose designs include hand-made cut glass in earrings, mosaics, and more;
• the Country Gypsy - Kathleen Perry, whose passion is beautiful and comfortable hand-woven jewelry;
• It’s All About You, featuring Lois McElwain and Cary Fischer with hand-made, one of a kind pendant sets and earrings in natural gemstones and sterling silver, and gemstone specimens;
• Conversations by Deb – Debbie Denny will have hand-made bird baths, plant stands, bird feeders, and special conversation gifts;
• There will be a VERY SPECIAL presentation by Deena Spellman of Bastrop Gardens on “Cooking with Culinary Herbs”. This is Deena’s last presentation until 2018, and one you don’t want to miss!!
• The Bastrop County Animal Control and Shelter will be on premises with adoptable fur babies – just in time for Christmas! The adoption fee will be “WAIVED” for a $20 donation fee to the Shelter.
• The Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry will be on-site, collecting donations – both monetary and groceries for those in need in Bastrop County, ESPECIALLY during the holiday season.
• Dr. Joy Productions will be providing music from 11a.m.—1 p.m.
• Artisans already at the Market, including:
o Bluebird Gardens with fresh cut flowers, and ceramic tile art;
o Bluestem Farms, with hand-made olive oil soaps, and bath kits;
o Scented Pleasures, with hand-crated herbal products – including goat’s-milk soaps, soy-candles, and more;
o In the Garden Nursery – with Metal Yard Art and Wood Furniture;
o Made with Love – with fresh baked goods, and home-made dishes
o Picci’s Farm – with lots of baked goods, sandwiches, tamales, and more;
o Baked by J.J. – with lots of baked goods;
• Additionally, the Market will have veggies, honey, fall plants, fresh eggs, beef, pork, chicken, and more.
We have a “few” spaces available for Artisans (hand-made, original arts and crafts only) who would like to participate in this event. Costs for the one-day event is $40 per 10x10 booth. Applications will be accepted until December 1, 2017. ALL PARTICIPANT fees will go EQUALLY to the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry and the Bastrop County Animal Control and Shelter.
