On their first date, Didi and Fred desperately try to feel something for each other. But they can’t. Their hearts and souls are as cold as absolute zero. Will they be able to make a human connection before they freeze completely? A one-act play for two actors, a refrigerator, and a six-pack of Coke. The World At Absolute Zero starring Lisa Holcomb and Danne Absher and directed by Chester Eitze. Lisa Holcomb has been performing at the Bastrop Opera House since 2004. She has a passion for singing and acting and has performed in many different productions including “Oz: The Musical” (playing the Wicked Witch of the West), “Rented Christmas”, “BINGO, the Musical” and most recently as Sister Amnesia in “Nunsense, the Musical.” Lisa is very involved in the Bastrop Opera House Youth Performing Arts Academy as an instructor. After a twenty-four year hiatus, Danne Absher reignited his love of performing at The Bastrop Opera House appearing in "Political Theater" (later dubbed "Booth").
