High 5 a Hero is a heartwarming monthly campaign celebrating the First Responders who serve communities throughout Bastrop County. Each month, the Bastrop Regional Chamber delivers a sponsored meal and a big THANK YOU to a local First Responder station or office. The Chamber highlights the featured First Responders, their service, and the meal delivery across our social media platforms—creating a positive way to recognize our hometown heroes while sharing their stories with the community.
