Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Hires a New Membership Engagement Manager
Bastrop, Texas (September 12, 2022) – The Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and staff have announced the hiring of Jacki Gabryshak as the new Membership Engagement Manager for the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce.
“The Chamber is proud to hire a professional with the knowledge and understanding of the work a chamber does. Ms. Gabryshak has sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills, as well as the self-motivation that our Chamber team needs as a lean organization. Her background in working with clients, experience in marketing, and a solid grasp on the needs of small businesses will move the Chamber to the next level when it comes to the membership experience,” said Becki Womble, Bastrop Chamber President and CEO.
Jacki Gabryshak comes to the Chamber after previously serving as an Ambassador of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, and as a Sales Representative at the Elgin Courier. With her wide variety of experience in business development, social & digital media, event planning, fundraising, and public relations, she will be an asset to the Bastrop Chamber. Jacki maintains a real estate license and works as an agent for Centum Oak Realty. Prior to moving to Bastrop, Ms. Gabryshak worked as a Convention Sales Manager in Corpus Christi, Texas. Ms. Gabryshak is married to her husband of 9 years, Pete, and together they have five grown children, and six grandchildren. She is originally from Macon, Missouri, moved to Texas in 1990, and has lived in Bastrop for 3 years.

Ms. Gabryshak officially starts with the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce in her new role on Monday, September 12, with regular lobby hours of Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm. She has been working contract with the Chamber since August 8. The membership is invited to come and meet Ms. Gabryshak any time during the week. The Bastrop Chamber formally introduced her to the membership at its monthly luncheon on Wednesday, September 7.
