Bastrop, Texas – The Bastrop Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that they received 2nd place recognition for their Website at the Texas Chamber of Commerce (TCCE) State Convention held in El Paso, Texas this week.
“The Chamber is busting with pride over the recognition our website just received!” said Becki Womble, Bastrop Chamber President and CEO. “We launched the improved website on March 20th that features a cleaner optimized layout, designed for easier navigation and better access to Chamber essentials for members and the public. Apparently, the Media Award committee thought so too.
The website home page has iconic Bastrop imagery that users enjoy with new site features, like the Community Guide and Business Directory in a digital version, plus Bastrop resources like the extensive Chamber and Community calendars along with destination information.”

In each of four chamber size categories, judges choose the top three entries and the winners were recognized in each of the following media categories: Brochures, Directories/Magazines, Maps, Marketing Campaigns, Newsletters (printed or electronic), Social Media Campaigns and Websites.”
Board Chair Kevin Plunkett said, “One pillar of our Strategic Plan is Amplify Value to Members. This is another example of how the Bastrop Chamber keeps working to provide more value to our members and the community.”
