Do you feel overwhelmed and anxious in noisy environments? Have you ever gotten lost to the beat of a steady drum? These are the type of questions we will be looking into and exploring. Human history is filled with a rich tradition of sound and its healing benefits. We will be taking a look at the science that affirms sound-healing traditions, as well as the historical underpinnings of these methods. You can expect to learn about sound frequencies, instruments, nature-sounds, and binaural beats; and how they affect our body, mind, and soul. This will be an interactive workshop with live demonstration of sounds and meditation techniques.
