CASH PRIZES! Washer Tournament @ Bastrop Patriotic Festival!

It’s time to crank up those arms and get ready to throw!  The Bastrop Patriotic Festival wishes to extend to you a cordial invitation to enter the Washer Pitching Tournament to be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 on the Grand Lawn at Fisherman’s Park!

The following rules have been established for the contest.

1. A team consists of two players
2. Teams must be registered by Friday, June 23^rd.  The first 48 teams to enter will play.
3. The entry fee is $20.00 per team.  WALK-UPS may register until 10:45am on Saturday, July 1^st.  WALK-UP REGISTRATION is $30.00 per team.
4. Single Elimination Tournament. Teams pitch the best two out of three games.
5. A game will be played to 21 points or 30 minutes, whichever comes first.
6. Washers will be used and will be provided by BPF.
7. CONTESTANTS MUST USE TOURNAMENT PROVIDED WASHERS.
8. Scoring:  Ringer-5 points; Leaner-3 point; Closest -1 point.
9. Boxes are 21 ft. from hole to hole.
10. Contestants must stand even with the box.
11. Check at the large pavilion before 10:45am, Saturday, July 1^st to find your starting time.  First Roundup will have a time schedule; after that, teams will throw as soon as scheduled pit opens up.
12. Pitching will start at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1^st.  Your first game will be forfeited if you are not there on time.
13. Cash Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners.
