Business of the Year Nomination

Business of the Year Award Criteria:

The Business of the Year Award is given to companies that have significantly contributed to the economic vitality and demonstrated unwavering confidence in the future of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce trade area.

Eligible businesses must have been in operation for at least five years and be members in good standing with the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce.

Nominees must demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following areas:

• Exceptional growth through job creation, facility expansion, or increased revenue.
• Added new dimensions or services to the existing business.
• Prioritize purchasing goods and services locally whenever possible.
• Business owners/upper management foster an excellent relationship with their employees.
• Uphold a strong reputation for integrity and outstanding customer service in the community.
• Participate in or support community activities through engagement, sponsorship, or volunteer efforts.
• Positively impact and influence the local business community.
• Previous recipients are not eligible.
• Members of the Board of Directors and the Nominations Committee are not eligible.

Incomplete nomination forms will not be considered.

Nominations are accepted year-round, but to be considered for recognition at the January Award Luncheon and Chamber Banquet, applications must be submitted by the second Friday in November at 5:00 p.m.
