Woman of the Year Nomination

Woman of the Year Award Criteria:

The Woman of the Year Award recognizes individuals who selflessly volunteer their time and talents to make Bastrop an exceptional place to live.

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

• Made significant contributions of time, energy, and enthusiasm to the community beyond their professional responsibilities, without regard for personal gain.
• Demonstrated civic and community service that exceeds normal expectations, creating a lasting and beneficial impact on all residents.
• Actively engaged in service through community, church, or other organizations.
• Any job-related duties or tasks for which the nominee is compensated will not be considered.
• All nominees must be living, reside in, or have a business in the Greater Bastrop Area, and possess strong personal character.
• Previous recipients are not eligible.
• Members of the Board of Directors and the Nominations Committee are not eligible.

Incomplete nomination forms will not be considered.

Nominations are accepted year-round, but to be considered for recognition at the January Award Luncheon and Chamber Banquet, applications must be submitted by the second Friday in November at 5:00 p.m.
