Jana Lynch • PaintedArtist.com Featured Artist at Lost Pines Art Center • Bastrop TX Jana works in various mediums, but has brought us a striking exhibition in egg tempera. Her hyper realistic works depict an eye of several creatures. If you take even a closer look, you will see her animated style self-portrait painted into each one! Realism and Animation in one painting?!? It’s quite intriguing. Only 4 artists a year in Bastrop TX get this distinction, so please check out her show, titled: “Eye to Eye” at the Lost Pines Art Center • September, October and November. PLUS, You can meet Jana as she demos the nearly lost medium of egg tempera, and hear her art talk, at Lost Pine’s Art Center, “Art After Dark” on October 7th at 6 pm.
