2020 COLLECTION EVENTS AT THE BASTROP COUNTY HHW FACILITY AND RE-USE CENTER
Get Vouchers if required before the event from: 211 Jackson St in Bastrop (Developmental Services Office), Smithville City Hall @ 317 Main Street (call 512 237 3282 and ask for Tracie or Jill); or the Lee County Court House (Judge Fisher's office). Vouchers will be available starting the month prior to the event.
All Collection Events start at 9AM and end at Noon
February 1: Tires and E-Waste collection event
No voucher required * 10 tires free, over 10 tires $5 per tire * No 18 wheeler tires
April 4: Full HHW* Collection Event
June 6: Paint Only Collection Event
October TBD: Paint Only Collection Event
The Re-Use Center will be open on Fridays following each event, as staff is available
* HHW: Household Hazardous Waste includes latex and oil-based paint, household cleaners and other chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, pool chemicals, and so on. For a complete list and more information:
