'We're in the Together' Business Recognition

This week our recipient is Ma'Coco!  We will meet in their parking lot located at 1067 Hwy. 71 West (Community Gardens) at 10:15 am.

Ma'Coco was nominated due to their support of Feed the Need Mission, a local non-profit that provides meals for the homeless at several locations in Central Texas.  During the COVID crisis there were times when Feed the Need could not get enough supplies and food to service all of their locations.  Judith Equihua and her staff at Ma'Caco stepped up and provided hundreds of free meals during this time to help keep the sites open and people fed!

Our theme this week is "all boxed up!"  Because the food Boxes they provided were life-saving for so many in our community! 



One nominee is chosen by a panel each week beginning the week of August 3 and will continue into the Fall giving us something great to look forward to in this time of social distancing. The weekly winner will be recognized with a surprise visit made of Chamber members, Ambassadors, and Community Partners.
 
Each surprise visit will be individualized to the recipient to be meaningful and specific ? so no two events will be the same. We will also be looking to partner with other Chamber members to make these events spectacular. So be on the lookout for our request for assistance! Some of the things we could ask for include, snacks, beverages, swag, and entertainment. But mainly attendance and participation!
 
Lastly, each event will be held outdoors with appropriate social distancing and masks to ensure everyone?s safety. We hope you will join us in recognizing some very deserving businesses that make Bastrop and Bastrop County special!
