DMO Startup Board SPECIAL MEETING

Pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, the City of Bastrop DMO Study Committee will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Bastrop City Hall, 1311 Chestnut Street, Bastrop, Texas, to consider the following matters:

1.    Election of a committee Chairman

2.    Call to Order.

2.      Discussion with Bill Geist regarding tax exemption status of the DMO

3.      Review and Discuss Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund reports

3.    Consideration of matters related to the creation of a Destination Marketing Organization, as recommended by City Council at the January 14th Council meeting

4.    Establish Start Up Board timeline, goals and action items

5.    Future meetings.
