Pathway to Citizenship Class

This class, sponsored by the Democratic Party of Bastrop County, will introduce information on how to become a United States citizen. The instructor, Roxanne Shell, will talk about the requirements for naturalization, review required forms, explain how the course will be divided, and show a short video presentation regarding Homeland Security. The first class is free, at which you will receive an introduction to the 12 class series regarding the naturalization process. If you choose to take the 12 class series beginning Sat., 1/28/17, you may register for the class onsite on 1/21/17 or online under the class description "Pathway to Citizenship." Payment is due at the time of registration. The registration fee for the 12 week class is $40 per person and will be paid via cash, check, or credit card to BISD. There is an additional $8.00 cash due to the instuctor at the time of registration to cover the cost of materials that you will receive and be able to take home with you. La instructora, Roxanne Shell, hablará de los requisitos para la naturalización, repasará las formas requeridas, explicará cómo el curso será dividido y mostrará una presentación de un video corto en respecto a la Seguridad Nacional. La primera clase es gratis, en la cual recibirá la introducción a las 12 series de clase en respecto al procedimiento de la naturalización. Si usted decide tomar las 12 series de clase empezando el sábado 28/1/17, puede inscribirse para la clase en el sitio el 21/1/17 o en línea bajo la descripción de la clase “Pathway to Citizenship”. El pago se debe al momento de inscripción. La cuota de inscripción para las 12 semanas de clase son $40 por persona y se pagará en efectivo, cheque o tarjeta de crédito a BISD. Hay $8.00 adicionales en efectivo que se debe para la instructora al momento de inscripción para cubrir los gastos de materiales que va a recibir y poder llevarlos a casa.
