RTCC Transportation Needs Assessment

Help Us Plan for the Future of Transit! The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) and the Capital Area Regional Transportation Coordination Committee (RTCC) are working with regional public transit providers and human service agencies on a Coordinated Public Transit-Health and Human Service Transportation Plan. During this phase of the planning process we are analyzing unmet transportation needs and transportation service gaps in the Capital Area Region. The first round of public outreach is focused on gaining input on local and regional transportation needs. A particular focus is placed on the needs of senior adults, people with disabilities, and low income residents. Attend an open house/listening session and provide your comments on unmet transportation needs and transportation service gaps. All open house/listening sessions are a come-and-go format; there will be no formal presentation. The open house/listening sessions will be held throughout the region: Thursday, September 22. 1-3 p.m.: Bastrop Chamber of Commerce—972 Main St. Monday, September 26. 1-3 p.m.: Marble Falls Library—101 Main St. Tuesday, September 27. 10 a.m.-12 noon: Manor ISD Boardroom—10335 US Hwy 290 E. Wednesday, September 28. 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Lockhart Senior Center—901 Bois D’Arc St. Wednesday, September 28. 4-6 p.m.: Del Valle Opportunity Center—5301 Ross Rd. Thursday, September 29. 11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Cedar Park Library—550 Discovery Blvd. Thursday, September 29. 4-6 p.m.: Lake Travis Community Library—1938 Lohmans Crossing Regionally Coordinated Transportation Plan The RTCC is the lead committee charged with completing the Regionally Coordinated Public Transit-Health and Human Service Transportation Plan updates. The plan will help guide transportation service coordination, funding, and operations for the next 7-10 years.
