Dr. Matthew was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2002. In 2015, he earned his Academy of Chiropractic Philosophy diplomate and currently, he is enrolled in the prestigious Diplomate for Philosophical Chiropractic Studies. This is a 2 year rigorous course challenging the best chiropractors in the world. Dr. Matthew is actively involved in the Chiropractic Society of Texas, the state association for chiropractors in Texas.

Dr. Matthew has always been very active in community organizations such as the Bastrop Education Foundation, The Bastrop Sportsmen's Committee,  A 3 term-Bastrop ISD Board Trustee, and mentor programs with local schools, just to name a few.
