Friends of the Bastrop Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Bastrop Public Library is having its Spring Book Sale at the library, 1100 Church Street on Friday, April 29th starting at 10 am for the general public.  ( A special preview is held from 9-10 am for those who are Friends.  To become a Friend, a $15 annual donation is required and is payable at the door).  Saturday's sale starts at 10am and continues until 3pm. Most books are $1 or less.  On that Saturday, the Lost Pines Garden Club is having a plant sale from 9 until noon in the library's parking lot.  All proceeds from the two events benefit the Children's Reading programs at the Library.  If you are interested in volunteering to help with the sale, please leave a message with one of the librarians.
