Simplifying QuickBooks / Online Training

For the beginner, we present QuickBooks as a tool for storing transaction data for your business and generating your financial reports. In this introduction, we discuss the different versions of QuickBooks, look at the user interface, and prepare you for free, one-on-one sessions with a SCORE mentor get your company set up in QuickBooks. Supporting the presentation are several short video tutorials using the online version of QuickBooks. Time is allowed for discussion and answering questions. This is not a hands-on workshop, so a computer is not needed. If you sign up for a mentor after the workshop, we will help you to set up your business in QuickBooks with an appropriate chart of accounts, so you can begin data entry.
