About Us

Owners John and Jennifer Garrett launched the first edition of Community Impact in 2005 with three full-time employees covering Round Rock and Pflugerville. Now, Community Impact distributes hyperlocal news and information to millions of local residents and business owners each day online and monthly by mail. Our Bastrop | Cedar Creek newsletter & website launched in September of 2023, and in March 2024 we launched a monthly publication to every address in 78602 & 78612. We are proud to serve the Bastrop community!
