Toastmasters International (“Where Leaders Are Made”) Launches New Chapter being Chartered for Bastrop

Bastrop, TX – December 28, 2024 – Toastmasters District 55 is proud to announce the launch of a new Toastmasters club in Bastrop, joining hundreds of clubs across Texas. As Toastmasters celebrates its 100th anniversary, this new chapter will bring the renowned public speaking and leadership development program to the vibrant Bastrop community.
“I’m excited to bring this impactful program to serve the Bastrop community,” said Bart Loeser, a new Bastrop resident and Assistant Director for Toastmasters District 55. “Toastmasters has a proven track record of empowering individuals to grow as communicators and leaders, and I’m confident this club will become a valuable resource for our local community.”
Purpose and Benefits of a Community Toastmasters Club
A community Toastmasters club provides a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together to develop their communication and leadership skills. Open to all adults, regardless of profession or experience, the club offers a structured yet flexible program designed to help members achieve personal and professional growth.
Meeting Time and Place:
Monday evenings starting January 16, lasting 90 minutes, starting at 6:45 PM.  Temporary location is at the Film Alley showroom, 1600 Chestnut, Bastrop.  (Arrive early to order snacks and drinks).
