    Space for vendors is very limited at the Bastrop Patriotic Festival but if you are interested in applying, please fill out the application HERE.

    Patriotic Fest Schedule of Events & Activities (subject to change)

    Pet ‘n’ Me Costume Contest - 10am
    There’s nothing more fun than dressing up to match your pet! Come enter the Pet & Me costume contest! Entry is free, and there will be a few prizes available for the best costumes!!! Meet us in the park with your little darlin’ dressed to impress!

    Washer Tournament - 11am-2pm
    Do you love to play washers? Well, put a team together and come on down to our Washer Tournament there will be cash prizes for the winners & cold beer for sale in the park! Cash, Washers & Beer – what a perfect day! 

    Zumba - 11am
    Demonstration of ZUMBA moves on the Main Stage by ____________ .
    Hot Pepper Eating Contest sponsored by Whataburger - 1pm
    Come out and show up how many Whataburger Hot Peppers you can eat! They have milk to cool your mouth after and prizes for the winner! 

    Pie Eating Contest sponsored by Maxine’s - 2pm
    Only in Bastrop can you enter a pie eating contest sponsored by the Award-WINNING Maxine’s Café & Bakery! Their pies are so good, it won’t matter if you win, you’ll be excited just to be participating! 

    Hot Dog Eating Contest - 3pm
    Hungry? Nothing more Americana than Hot Dogs to celebrate America’s Birthday! Come be a true patriot and demonstrate how well you can eat a true American Classic!!!   

    Ice Cream Eating Contest sponsored by Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt - 4pm
    Oh man. You Scream, I Scream, We ALLL Scream for…. FROYO? Menchie’s will host a froyo eating contest! Can you beat the brain freeze? We shall see! Only the strong survive! 

    Sack Races sponsored by the YMCA - 5pm
    Here’s your chance to show your kids you still “got it”! Bring the family for a little friendly competition. Last one to cross the finish line is a “rotten egg”!

    Capital of Texas Zoo - 10am-4pm
    Bastrop is home to all kinds of animals, but on June 30th, the Chamber will be bringing in some exotic options for young and old to get up and personal with about 10 different species of exotic animals! Including kangaroos and lemurs.  Yay!

    Colorado River Alliance Mobile River Exhibit - 10am-4pm
    Interested I how the river works? The Colorado River Alliance has a really “cool” way to learn about it! Come hang out in their air-conditioned trailer and learn some interesting things about our river! 

    Water Wonderland (wristbands $10 available day of event) - 10am-8pm
    Have your kids been begging you to take them to Schlitterbahn? Well, for the purchase of a wristband they will have all day access to multiple water slides of all kinds! Come cool off and find some adventure in our Water Wonderland! Be sure to bring your water shoes!

    Rock Wall - 10am – 8pm
    Climb to the highest of heights on our Rock Wall! Harness up and see how high you can climb! Fun for the Young & Young at Heart!

    Children’s Activity Tent - 10am-8pm
    Games & crafts galore! We will have several free activities as well as booths with activities you can pay for.  Lowes will be there to help them build something for free!

    Car Show - 10am-10pm
    The Bastrop Area Cruisers and the Blue Flames Car Clubs will dazzle us with their immaculate engines and cars of yesteryear! You may not own one, but you can pretend as you enter the park to enjoy the rest of the festivities!

    Shuttle Bus Service from Convention Center - 12pm-11pm
    Why walk all that way to your car? Let us Shuttle you in our yellow school busses right to where all the action is! Free Shuttle all day long!
