Description
Bastrop County Cares invites you to join us for “What’s Next for Texas Schools? A Community Conversation” — an Education Town Hall focused on the future of public education in Texas. This event will take place on Tuesday, September 30, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bastrop Convention Center.
During this community conversation, attendees will hear from education professionals, engage with local stakeholders, and explore how upcoming changes will shape K–12 public education across the state. The event will include free child care and translation services (Spanish and ASL) to ensure accessibility for all participants. Refreshments will be provided.
Service providers interested in hosting a resource table are encouraged to register in advance by emailing communications@bastropcares.org. This event is free and open to the public, and all parents, educators, and community members are encouraged to attend.
Whether you are a parent, educator, or stakeholder in public education advocacy, your voice matters. For more information, visit bastropcares.org or call (512) 409-3116.
