  • Part-Time / Full-Time, Hourly at $14- $20
  • Job Description & hours needed; 8am-7pm & Weekends as needed. 30-40+ hours per week. Our organization is seeking an Office Assistant responsible for executing clerical duties within our office environment.  The role entails managing incoming telephone communications and other correspondence, welcoming clients and visitors, overseeing file management, updating documentation, and performing various administrative tasks and errands pertinent to office operations, and, as needed, retail coverage.
  • Accounting/Office Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.
  • Managing our filing system.
  • Recording, creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
  • Greeting customers and visitors as needed.
  • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas.                            
  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Organizing shipping and receiving.
  • Monitoring and posting on social media as necessary.
  • Maintaining supply inventory.
  • Maintaining office equipment as needed.
  • Aiding with housekeeping as needed.

Help manage & post CHT social media platforms.

Office Assistant Requirements:

  • High school diploma or associate degree.
  • 1 year of experience as an office assistant or in a related field.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Be a Self-Starter.
  • Ability to write clearly and help with word processing.
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great on the phone.
  • Ability to think logically & independently.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Very organized, with high attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Trustworthy, exercising confidentiality in all situations.
  • Dedication and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks.
  • Some accounting experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

**Retail experience

**Experience as a virtual assistant

**More than 2-3 years’ experience as an office assistant

**Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quick Books

**Previous work in the firearms industry is a plus
