Red, White & Blue Veterans of Bastrop County is composed of a group of veterans and supporters from Bastrop County that have been organizing an annual veteran appreciation banquet since 2003. The organization is a 501 (c) (3) and makes donations to county veteran service organizations, Bastrop and Elgin High School NJROTC, Bastrop County Veterans Honor Guard, Restoration Ranch and the Austin Patriot Guard Riders. They also organize the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Fairview Cemetery and the Bastrop Cruisers Veterans Tribute Ceremony at the Bastrop County Courthouse Veteran Memorial and the veterans march down Main Street at their annual Veteran Car Show Weekend.
