Bastrop, TX (June 17, 2025) – At the 2025 Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Annual Conference held in Denton, Texas, Becki Womble, CCE, IOM, President and CEO of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, was named the recipient of the Arthur A. Roberts Award, the highest individual honor bestowed by the organization. The award was presented during the conference’s Awards Gala on June 17.

The Arthur A. Roberts Award is given annually to a chamber professional in Texas who has demonstrated exceptional service, leadership, mentorship, and commitment to the advancement of the chamber profession. Becki joins an elite group of past recipients recognized for shaping the future of chambers of commerce across the state.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive the Arthur A. Roberts Award,” said Womble. “To be recognized by my peers and colleagues, many of whom have mentored and inspired me over the years, is truly overwhelming. I have been blessed to work in this profession that allows us to make a difference in our communities every single day.”

Womble, who has led the Bastrop Chamber since 2014, is a Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) and a graduate of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management (IOM). Under her leadership, the Bastrop Chamber has grown to nearly 800 members, received Four-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber, and has been consistently ranked as one of the Top 10 Largest Chambers in the Austin metro area. She is widely respected for her advocacy work, collaborative spirit, and her mentorship of emerging chamber professionals across the state.

Womble has also served on numerous state and regional boards, including the TCCE Board of Directors, and is a frequent speaker and facilitator at chamber training courses and conferences. Her leadership has elevated the visibility and influence of the Bastrop Chamber while fostering meaningful connections across Texas.
