TCCE MEDIA AWARD PRESENTED AT 2025 ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Bastrop Chamber of Commerce recognized for media excellence in event marketing
Bastrop, TX (June 17, 2025) – The Bastrop Chamber of Commerce proudly received First Place in Event Marketing (Category 3) at the 2025 Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Annual Conference, held June 16–18 in Denton, Texas. The award honors the Chamber’s outstanding promotion and execution of the 2024 Bastrop County Health Fair, an annual event dedicated to improving community wellness and connecting residents with local health resources.
“I am beyond thrilled to have received this recognition among submissions from chambers across the state of Texas,” said Becki Womble, President and CEO of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce. “The Bastrop County Health Fair is a meaningful event that promotes healthy living and provides valuable access to services for our community. This award is a reflection of the hard work and creativity of our team and partners who bring this event to life every year.”
Now in its third year, the Bastrop County Health Fair has grown significantly in both scope and impact, offering free health screenings, family-friendly activities, wellness vendors, and live stage presentations from local experts. The Chamber’s 2024 marketing strategy included digital outreach, targeted social media campaigns, radio promotions, community partnerships, and engaging visual content, all designed to increase awareness, drive attendance, and amplify local healthcare providers.
“This recognition highlights not only the Chamber’s commitment to community engagement but also our ability to creatively market programs that matter,” said Meagan Webb, Chairwoman of the Board. “We’re incredibly proud of Becki and her team for receiving this award and continuing to raise the bar for impactful event marketing.”
The mission of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce is “To improve business prosperity and the quality of life in Bastrop County, through leadership, advocacy, and collaboration.” Currently, the Chamber serves a membership of nearly 800 members throughout Bastrop County and Central Texas and is consistently ranked in the Top 10 Largest Chambers by the Austin Business Journal.
