Distinguished Awards
- Marvin Hurley Award: Mary Martin Frazior, Hurst-Euless-Bedford Chamber
The Marvin Hurley Award is TCCE’s highest individual honor, presented annually to a chamber executive whose career reflects outstanding leadership, unwavering integrity, and significant contributions to the chamber profession at the local, state, and national levels. Named after Marvin Hurley, a visionary leader and former CEO of the Houston Chamber, this award recognizes those who set a lasting standard for excellence in the industry.
This year’s recipient, Mary Martin Frazior, President & CEO of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Chamber of Commerce, exemplifies that legacy. With nearly 50 years of service — including 28 years at the helm of the HEB Chamber — Mary has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to business advocacy, regional collaboration, and professional mentorship. Under her leadership, the chamber has grown in influence and impact, supporting local businesses and driving economic development across North Texas. Mary’s leadership extends far beyond the walls of her chamber. She is a respected contributor to numerous regional organizations, including the HEB Economic Development Foundation, the Northeast Leadership Forum, the HEB ISD Education Foundation, and the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE). Her work in these roles reflects a deep and lasting dedication to strengthening the economic and educational fabric of her community and the chamber profession statewide.
“Mary Frazior exemplifies everything the Marvin Hurley Award stands for—visionary leadership, unwavering integrity, and a lifelong commitment to the chamber profession. For nearly five decades, she has been a driving force not only in the HEB community but across the entire state, building strong partnerships, mentoring future leaders, and elevating our industry. It’s an honor to celebrate her legacy, and on behalf of TCCE, I extend our deepest congratulations and gratitude.” — Doug Peters, TCCE Board Chair & CEO of Abilene Chamber
“Mary’s decades of service and the positive difference she continues to make across Hurst, Euless, and Bedford make her a truly deserving recipient,” said Brad Parker, 2025 Chairman of the Board of the HEB Chamber. “This recognition is a testament to her lasting legacy.”
- Art Roberts Award: Becki Womble, Bastrop Chamber
The Art Roberts Award is presented annually to a chamber professional who exemplifies exceptional leadership, service, mentorship, and commitment to advancing the chamber profession. Selected by the TCCE Board Chair, the award honors a board member who goes above and beyond in their service to the organization.
This year’s recipient, Becki Womble, President & CEO of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, joins an esteemed group of leaders recognized for shaping the future of chambers across Texas. A fierce advocate and mentor, Becki’s strategic vision, collaborative spirit, and deep commitment to the chamber community have left a lasting impact on TCCE and the broader profession.
Womble has led the Bastrop Chamber since 2014 and holds both the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) and Institute for Organization Management (IOM) credentials. Under her leadership, the chamber has grown to nearly 800 members, achieved Four-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber, and is consistently ranked among the top 10 largest chambers in the Austin metro area. She is widely respected for her advocacy work and dedication to developing the next generation of chamber leaders.
“Becki Womble’s commitment, energy, and support make her incredibly deserving of this recognition. She stepped up in a truly extraordinary way over the past year—volunteering to lead TCCE through one of the most complex behind-the-scenes transitions any organization can face: the full migration of our CRM and website systems to GrowthZone. We are deeply grateful for her leadership, and I couldn’t be more proud to recognize her contributions to TCCE.” — Doug Peters, TCCE Board Chair & CEO of Abilene Chamber
“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive the Arthur A. Roberts Award,” said Womble. “To be recognized by my peers and colleagues, many of whom have mentored and inspired me over the years, is truly overwhelming. I have been blessed to work in this profession that allows us to make a difference in our communities every single day.”
“Becki exemplifies everything this award stands for — visionary leadership, service to others, and a relentless commitment to the mission of chambers of commerce,” said Meagan Webb, Chairwoman of the Bastrop Chamber Board.
- Chamber Innovation Award: Round Rock Chamber
The Round Rock Chamber of Commerce was recognized with the 2025 Chamber Innovation Award for its bold approach to redefining chamber programming. Their initiative to replace traditional events with modern, data-informed strategies has enhanced business engagement and positioned the chamber as a model for relevance and sustainability in a fast-changing landscape. This award was in partnership with the Texas Venture Alliance and Executive Director, CS Freeland, who supported TCCE in identifying leaders across the state.
Jordan Robinson, President & CEO of the Round Rock Chamber, said, “This recognition reflects our deep commitment to building a thriving innovation economy—not just in Round Rock, but across Central Texas. As a chamber, we believe it's our responsibility to help entrepreneurs and startups succeed by removing barriers, making meaningful connections, and advocating for the tools they need to grow. We’re proud to be part of an ecosystem where bold ideas and business can take root and thrive. I’m incredibly grateful to the Texas Venture Alliance and TCCE for this honor and for their continued leadership in elevating innovation-focused chambers across our state.”
