McDADE, TX — The beloved Texas Independence Jam returns March 6–8, 2026, celebrating its 12th year with a free, family-friendly weekend of live music, great food, and community gathering at Yegua Creek Brewery & Restaurant at Rising Sun Vineyard.

Set on a scenic working vineyard and brewery property in Bastrop County, the three-day festival welcomes visitors from across Central Texas to enjoy live performances, local flavor, and relaxed countryside hospitality. Admission is free, and dry camping is available for guests who want to stay the weekend.

🍽 Festival Meals & Food Offerings

Festival organizers are serving one complimentary meal each day to bring the community together:

• Friday Night: New Mexican-style Red Chile Asado Dinner
• Saturday Night: Pig Roast BBQ
• Sunday Morning: Bloody Mary Gospel Brunch

The Yegua Creek Brewery kitchen will also be open during regular hours with its full menu available for purchase.

Now in its 12th year, Texas Independence Jam continues its mission of celebrating live music and Texas culture. Attendees can support the event by making donations, participating in raffles, or becoming sponsors.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the Bastrop Live Music Foundation, helping support and sustain live music across the region.
