Project Management is an essential team to grow fast and take over the market. To do so, our work process must be easier to cooperate with our business partners and accessible to clients. Therefore, we are seeking a motivated project engineer. He/She will understand electrical specifications and drawings, overview the project, address the issue of products (Transformer, Circuit Breaker, Unit Substation), find a solution with design and engineering team, assign electrician, and commission the items.

Project Engineer will report to the project director and perform preparing action plans, analyzing risk and managing resources. He/She will coordinate and lead discussions with the client, LS internal departments, and supervisors on-site.

Key Responsibilities
Project Engineer manages the planning and processes of a project to ensure the project is completed successfully. Their responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
¦ Prior to Project • Conduct regular meetings with clientsto ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner. • Site survey for upcoming work location and validating the requirements. • Review Customer's project Drawing and Specification and provide CDE - Compliance sheet.
¦ Project Management • Coordination for work activates between LSE and the other parties regarding technical and management requirements. • Follow up the progress of work and material supply. • Interfacing with fabrication yards management to build up a good relationship for effective execution of the works • Anticipating potential variations orders from the yards and develop a strategy with the project manager and contract manager to minimize the impact to LS Electric in case of delays caused by LS Electric or LS Electric’s customer assist the Project Managers and Contract Manager to develop a strategy to minimize impact. • Assist the Project Leader/Team to establish project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. • Coordinate short circuit and arc flash studies, review relay settings and support field techs as needed.
¦ Client Support • Provide Technical/Engineering support for inquiries from clients and other departments. • Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field. • Interacting with Company’s HQ project teams/Factory Engineers and provide technical guide based on the client's requirement and find out optimal solution. • Outsource local product solution and get quotation to fill the gap and to meet customers’ requirements, as needed. • Estimating the project, provide layouts and quotation for the customers.
¦ Quality Control • Participate in Technical Evaluation Meeting as company's representative. • Suggest optimal solution and value engineering/voluntary alternatives to increase award probability. • Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications throughout pre-bid, post bid and execution stage.

 Required Qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology from a 4-year university • Excellent interpersonal and written communication/presentation skills • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities • Self-motivated and willing to continually learn and grow • Valid driver license

Preferred Qualifications:
• Electrical, industrial, mechanical engineering background is a plus • Construction project or similar industrial experience is helpful (internship/co-op included) • EIT/FE is preferred but not necessary • Spanish is preferred / Korean is highly preferred Additional information • Willing to travel occasionally (10-20% depends on the team)
