A NEW NAME. A NEW LOOK. A BIGGER VISION.
Still the Voice of Business.

Bastrop, Texas (April 13, 2026) – The Bastrop Chamber of Commerce has announced its evolution from the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce to the Bastrop Regional Chamber of Commerce.  With this new name and new look, the Chamber has created an identity that reinforces its image as professional, experienced, and well-connected.

“There are some moments in an organization’s history that feel bigger than a logo. This is one of those moments,” stated Becki Womble, President & CEO.  “As we officially launch our new identity as the Bastrop Regional Chamber of Commerce, I’ve been reflecting on what this change really means, not just for our Chamber, but for the businesses, leaders, and communities we serve every day.”

The transition to the Bastrop Regional Chamber of Commerce reflects the strength of the organization we have become and the future we are building together.  “Our Board believes this new identity honors our history while positioning us to serve as an even stronger convener, connector, and voice for business across the region,” shared Sara Rutherford, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors.

Serving as a regional business center that’s been operating for over a century with local leadership and 5-Star Accreditation, the Chamber has been doing the work of bringing people together, supporting business, developing leaders, and creating opportunities for connection. As we move forward with this new identity, you’ll see that we’re:

  • Bigger in vision
  • Bigger in collaboration
  • Bigger in service to this region

This new name better reflects the work we are already doing, and the vision we have for where we are headed.  The future of our communities will not be built in one city at a time. It will be built regionally.

The Bastrop Regional Chamber of Commerce is Accredited with Five-Star Distinction by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and its mission is “To improve business prosperity and the quality of life in the Bastrop Region, through leadership, advocacy, and collaboration.” Currently, the Chamber serves over 800 members throughout Bastrop County and Central Texas and is consistently ranked in the Top 10 Largest Chambers by the Austin Business Journal.
