Announces Hiring of Administrative Coordinator


Bastrop, Texas (April 13, 2026) – The Bastrop Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and staff has announced the hiring of Molly McCormack as Administrative Coordinator.

“The Chamber is delighted to welcome Ms. McCormack to the Chamber’s growing team.  Molly brings a strong administrative background and a high level of professionalism to the Chamber.  Our team is stronger than ever, and Molly will help us take the service we provide to our Chamber members and the Bastrop community to an even higher level,” said Becki Womble, Chamber President and CEO.

“Having recently moved to Bastrop, I'm excited to begin this new chapter with the Chamber and look forward to connecting with our members, partners, and local businesses,” stated McCormack. “I bring a culmination of experience in administration, tourism, and event coordination, so I'm ready to hit the ground running and eager to apply these skills in support of both the Chamber and the community.”

Ms. McCormack started with Chamber on March 31, 2026, reporting to Jami Haney, Bastrop Regional Chamber Vice President. Molly will focus on the day-to-day office operations and professional support of the Chamber staff, maintaining our customer database and filing systems, as well as managing office inventories and equipment.

The Chamber membership met Molly at the monthly luncheon on Wednesday, April 1, and are welcome to stop by the office to meet her personally.
